Before I was an educator, I was a graphic designer by trade. Before I learned the skills of formal design, I would spend countless hours drawing. My passion for illustration has been an ember patiently tended for years. Recently, I have articulated a style that I can call my own. It pulls together pieces of my experiences as an artist. I cut my teeth with pencil and pen as I developed life drawing skills in art school. As a designer, I learned the power of Adobe Illustrator to compose scalable and robust digital compositions. Consequently, my style is a synthesis of hand-drawn elements and vector art. I’ve experimented with this style to create portraits and abstract art. My most recent and longest enduring series captures animals in their habitats in the waning light of the “golden hour”. I call it Animal Prints.

Prints are for sale by order, and come in three different sizes: poster, standard, and post card. Prints are shipped within 10 business days, or within three weeks if back-ordered. Frames are not included.
